How to reset forgotten passcode of iPhone 13

I forgot the passcode of the screen since I was using face ID a lot. now when the iPhone discharged, I have to type the passcode first before face ID, but I forgot the passcode.

Now how can I open my iPhone. without losing data because I read about the reset thing. but backup only allows 5 Gb, and I had more than 5 Gb for sure. and I don't want to lose all data.

I have iCloud and password everything needed.

If you didn't backup all your data, then you won't be able to restore all of it. There is no way around losing your data if your phone needs to be reset.

If you read about the "reset thing", then you know that the existing data on the phone will be erased before the phone can be reset and set up again with new passcode.

So, you likely already have the instructions to erase/reset the phone and then set it up again.

If that is not the case, then post back for more instructions.

Once the phone has been erased, you can use your current backup to restore the data back to the phone.

It is really old fashioned, but you might consider writing down the new passcode and keeping it in a safe place.....even if you are sure that you will never forget it.
