prevent recents showing certain files iOS

In macOS, one can set the Search tool so as to prevent Search from finding and displaying specified files and folders. When they have been opened, these files and folders also do not appear in the macOS Recents list.

However, any such items that are opened in macOS do appear in the Recents list in iOS - for example, on an iPhone.

My question: can iOS be set in a similar way to macOS, so that specified items do not appear in Searches and do not appear in the Recents list on an iPhone?

I can't see any settings similar to the ones in macOS that would enable this. Can anyone help? Thanks very much.
