Aftermarket Apple CarPlay for Lexus LX

I recently installed a ZZ2 CarPlay system for my 2021 Lexus LX. It’s been running great for well over a month then, suddenly, I had an issue where I couldn’t hear Siri engage or speak directions while navigating.

I see here others are also having trouble with their navigation and CarPlay audio navigation.

We’ll, while troubleshooting the problem, I discovered that the ZZ2 system requires that the “mode” you select from your mousepad or steering wheel button between “AM, FM, Satellite, Bluetooth and Auxiliary” needs to be in “Auxiliary” and NOT Bluetooth, to hear audio like Siri directions for maps.
