FB Profile Picture change is an issue?

Hello. I would like to ask pro MacOS users about Photos access from Pictures folder in Finder. As I try to change profile picture on FB or Upwork or whenever, I select Upload and Finder opens. As I click on Photos folder in Finder, I can see 'photos library.photoslibrary' but it is unclickable. There is also access to Media folder at the very bottom of Finder which saves the day but Media folder is ungrouped list of my photo files.

The reply from Apple Support is that FB and Upwork are 3 party services and therefore this is not their issue and that I have to move picture from Photos and move it to the Desktop prior to any profile picture change.

My question- is there potentially any restriction that prevents my library from showing out all pictures in Picture folder in Finder when opening Finder with Safari browser?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.1

No restriction really, just the way Photos work.

Photos uses a database file, the PhotosLibrary.photoslibrary file in which all photos are kept. There are no actual individual files for Finder to see, since it's all inside the library database file.

After choosing the Media folder, You can use the search at the top right in Finder to find a specific picture, by title, content, location etc...
