Why is my Apple Watch setting alarms on its own after the iOS 18 update?

Recently updated phone to 18.whatever. Did not set any alarms on my Apple Watch, ever. Auto updates set on watch.

At 3:23AM, my watch set off an alarm and woke me in the middle of the night.

I found it, disoriented due to time and rude awakening, to be shown that 3:23 alarm was going off. Then I looked at alarms and a different alarm, that I also did not set, was set for 3:16AM tomorrow.

Deleted all alarms off the watch. Deleted sleep focus. Reset watch. Did software update manually.

TBD. So far, no new alarms have shown up. But since I never put in the first two alarms who knows. I also removed the sleep focus.

But Apple seems to have something wrong with Focus settings right now. My husband’s phone, also recently updated, has been randomly turning on Do Not Disturb in the middle of the day during work hours. It sounds like some debugging needs to be done.
