Slide shows no longer work on Apple TV / Photos

Firstly I have one of the latest models A2169 [64GB) 4K (Software up to date tvOS 18.1)

Have over 50K of photos/videos on iCloud- Created about 50 albums spanning 40 years.

When I had people over for dinner I would start a slideshow of latest holiday on the TV (using Apple TV) Usually about 1000 photos. (In shared or not shared albums) in the background.

This no longer works! Just starts repeating the first 20 photos or so.

Regardless of the settings eg no repeat or no shuffle! Apple please fix this! Or do I have to go back to paper! Regards Robert
