WiFi Calling Not Staying Enabled on iPhone 12
Hi Apple Community,
I’m reaching out for help with an issue I’ve been experiencing with WiFi Calling on my iPhone 12. Here’s my setup and what I’ve done so far:
- Device: iPhone 12 (originally an AT&T phone, unlocked with no SIM lock or carrier restrictions).
- Carrier: Metro by T-Mobile.
- iOS: 18.1.1
- E911 Address: Updated, and Metro by T-Mobile has confirmed it reflects correctly in their system.
The issue: WiFi Calling will not stay enabled. I’ve performed a reset of the network settings and contacted Metro by T-Mobile multiple times. They’ve assured me that everything looks fine on their end.
Other details:
- My signal is weak where I live, so I rely on WiFi Calling for connectivity.
- I have 3 other family members on the same plan, and their WiFi Calling works without any issues on their devices.
I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice on what might be causing this issue and how to resolve it.
Thank you!
RD
