How can I expedite the refund process for MacBook ?

Does it usually take this long?

I bought a laptop through the Back to School promotion, and they said it would take only 5 days, so I waited. But the arrival date kept getting delayed, and the order wasn't even processed or shipped. So, I ended up canceling the laptop I ordered in the first week of September because it didn't arrive until the third week of November.

While it felt great to cancel, why is it taking so long to get my refund? Even though I asked online and offline, the money that should have been refunded within a week hasn't come in after two weeks. Am I being scammed? When I call, they just tell me to wait.

I really need to buy a laptop, so please give me my money back...

If this is refund to a credit card, that has to go through several processing steps once Apple issues the refund, and delays in any of those steps, not at all uncommon particularly during this busy shopping season, can delay your credit card seeing the refund. You can try calling your card company, but it's unlikely that they will be able to give you any information. Frustrating, I know, but there's probably nothing you can do but wait if Apple has told you that they've issued the refund.
