Goto system settings, then WiFi . Find the unused networks that you don’t want to connect to. To the right of the WiFi network is a circle with a i in the middle, and then tap on that i icon. You will see ‘Auto-Join’, if it’s green it will auto join. For the unused networks just turn off green button. If you never plan on connecting to them, then use the top “Forget This Network”. This will remove said networks from your list.
