How can I fix iCloud drive sync issues on my Apple devices?

Hi everyone,

I’m having some trouble with iCloud Drive not syncing between my devices. I’m using a MacBook Air, iPhone 13, and iPad Air, all on the latest updates. Changes I make on one device sometimes don’t show up on the others unless I refresh manually, and a couple of folders I created on my iPad aren’t visible on my MacBook at all.

I’ve tried restarting my devices and signing out of iCloud, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone else dealt with this? Would really appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

I have the same issue, sometimes the modifications performed on iCloud on one computer are not properly synced and therefore not across all devices that use the same iCloud.

This is very disturbing as it may lead to a data loss.

Is there a way of better a macOS bash command to force the system to activate the iCloud sync? I always delete and recreate a file to force the sync but I have noticed this is not 100% a solution.

Any help is greatly appreciated, Daniele
