i burned directly from Panasonic dv recorder . The disc will not play on mac os(up to date). It shows mei_udf on the desktop. i want to use winx ripper for mac but it will not work. Is there a way to bring this bdmv file into my mac

Yes- believe it or not… a bdmv file can be played by VLC ( videolanclient. org) to convert it, you’d need a blu ray converter… Handbrake will convert it… see this link:

The problem for me is bringing the file over to desktop. I tried copy but nothing happens. I tried WinX ripping tool but get a 'structure' error notification. I haven't contacted WinX support yet. The disc will play on BD player. The recording is in 'chapters' when i recorded from the Panasonic DV recorder. Thank you
Thank you. I considered Handbrake when purchasing ripper software. will give it a try.
When I transfer the BDMV file to my desktop it will play with Quick time player. Additional software like Toast is required to burn correctly to a DVD to play on DVD players.
