I’ve researched this on the forums but nothing I’ve tried helps. It shows something is connected through the usb adapter in a system report, but it doesn’t show up anywhere so I can’t get the disc to play??? Thoughts??

By chance, have you tried multiple CDs or DVDs in the LG disc drive? Has it worked previously with the USB adapter you’re using?

This is. The first time I’m trying the drive with a newer laptop that requires using a usb adapter plug. It worked with the older laptop….hmmm. I think I stored that one somewhere, so might be able to try it. Thanks for your thoughts
