Compatibility of M4 Pro with 49" Ultrawide 5K Display

I'm planning to get the M4 Pro next year and had a question about its compatibility with a 49" ultrawide display. Specifically, the display I’m considering has a 5K resolution.

From what I’ve read, the M4 Pro supports one external screen at 8K resolution. Does this mean it can also handle a 5K ultrawide display? Additionally, what refresh rate (Hz) can I expect when using this display with the M4 Pro?

I came across some Reddit discussions about the M1 and M3 models suggesting mixed results with ultrawide displays, but I wasn’t sure if the M4 Pro would behave similarly.

Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences you can share!

I have a 5K:2K display. My M4 Pro MBP supports the display at full resolution of 5120x2160 just fine. The problem I (and others) have is that the scaled resolution of 3840x1620 is not supported by the M4 Pro. Both my Core i9 and M1 Pro MBPs offered that resolution on my display, the M4 Pro does not offer anything between full res and 3360x1418.
