I recently updated to the latest iOS with a new iPhone 16 Pro and Siri now announces all my texts when I am driving, which I find very annoying when I am trying to listen to something. I’ve tried turning off just about everything I can find in Settings that appears to be related to this, but can’t figure out how to stop this from happening. Where is that setting?

Not knowing exactly what you turned off, did you check Settings>Notifications>then under Siri, Announce Notifications. When you tap on that it goes to another page, and CarPlay is a selection under Announce When Connected To.

Under Announce Notifications there is CarPlay and I have that set to off, but I still get announcements on my car radio.
How do you turn off announcement by Siri for your car radio?
