How can I get rid of RotatorBox malware from my device?

Restarting the Mac won't get rid of anything. These two items shouldn't be on your Mac:

RotatorBox

You can right click on each and then choose Show in Finder. The folder where that app resides will open to the desktop and the file will be highlighted.

You also very likely need to kill the processes that launch them at start up. See this user tip by John Galt:

The main point is to post screen shots here of these three folders:

~/Library/LaunchAgents

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

The tilde ~ means you user account.

macOS includes built-in tools that removes known malware. Check that your Mac is up-to-date, then restart your Mac.

If you continue to see the malware, let us know.

That's possible. Since no website uses flash anymore it's one of the items to stay away from.

If the message appears in the upper right hand corner of the screen it may be due to a website you've visited in the past. If so try the following in Safari's Settings:

If it is indeed malware, download and run Malwarebytes, you can use the free version. I Googled it and it seems to be adware that you installed. Malwarebytes should be able to get rid of it.

You need to be careful of the sites you are visiting, you probably downloaded something from a site that you are not really familiar with.
