Affects sending data between iphone15 and MacBook. It may have to do with VPN or not updating after replacing router. Not sure.

Remove the VPN app entirely, restart macOS, and try again.
VPNs inherently alter network routing.
Various of the add-on VPNs also don’t untangle themselves short of removal.

If Having Network Traffic Issues:
VPN is a common culprit for network traffic (i.e. data syncing). So, see what happens when you disable it. Be singed into the same network. Log into your router through the Default Gateway, and see if these devices are seen on it. Also, power off your router for 30 seconds, and then power it back on.
