Problem with CarPlay phone on iOS 18

Since I've upgraded from iOS 17 to iOS 18 when I make a phone call on CarPlay the other side almost cannot hear me (I can hear them just fine). My car is Lexus ES350 2020. It used to work just fine on iOS 17. By now I'm using 18.2.1 and the problem is still there. If I disconnect the CarPlay (I'm using cable connection) the phone uses Bluetooth connection and everything works just fine.
