Spotlight "Privacy List Error"
not a useful post - but cannot see how to delete entirely

I thought I had found a solution to the problem I was/am having that was discussed in an earlier question. (Spotlight not allowing additions to the privacy exclusion list) On further investigation, my solution wasn't .
:(
I should like to delete my initial post but cannot see how to do so.
