Beer-soaked iPhone 15 pro won't charge

Whilst at work a beer keg exploded all over me and my phone was in my pocket from the time I left work and showered It had no other contact with water. My phone won't charge as its giving the liquid detection notification and is on 13% I'm worried that it will die and not turn on. So I turned it off. Is beer worse than water, and what else can I do to help dry my port. Also in the chance that it doesn't charge soon will is still charge through a wireless charger.

Yes, alcohol would be worse than water. It has sugars in it, which could be even more destructive. All we can advise is you take it to your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation, but if it is liquid damaged, Apple won't try to repair it. So be prepared to buy a new phone. Seems to me, your employer should pony up for a work related accident, which could have damaged your phone.
