Ringtone transfer issue from macOS Sequoia 15.2 to iPhone

MacBook Pro M2 running macOS Sequoia 15.2 is connected to an iPhone. 

Both Finder and Music do not provide a ringtone category when connected to an iPhone. So there is no place for the ringtone to go when you try to drop a ringtone on Finder or Music. Nothing happens, so the ringtone does not show up in the Sounds & Haptics area of the iPhone. Thus you can't download a new created ringtone to an iPhone with macOS Sequoia 15.2.

The Add ringtone to device, macOS 10.5 Catalina or later method worked last time I tested it. As far as I can recall it was still working with Sonoma, but I couldn't get the drag & drop method to transfer in Sequoia. That only leaves the more awkward process of creating a project in GarageBand or Logic, sharing that to GarageBand for iOS, and then sharing that as a ringtone on the device. For the avoidance of doubt I am a fellow user, I don't work for Apple, and cannot fix any of their software.

I appreciate your sending me all the ways the ringtone download used to work. However none of those ways work on a MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.2. Instead of telling me how it should work, would someone actually try downloading a custom ringtone on a MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.2. If that process does succeed then explain to me how you actually did the operation. I will then try your process myself. Otherwise just fix the problem and let me know when it works.
