Numbers is missing recent

Hey,

I'm not sure what is going on but Numbers' "Open Recent" is all empty. I can select them individually but if i click it i get an error saying can't open Null.

Can someone help me? I can't seem to find my recent files.

just an fyi the machine is:

• iMac Intel (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)
  • iMac20,2
• MacOS 14.7.1
• I don't have iCloud sync to it.
