Bluetooth connects to one hearing aid but not others on iPhone

I told Bluetooth to forget my hearing aids for I could switch them to a different audio source. Now Bluetooth connects to one hearing aid, but it will not show the others (it uses three connections). I see on the phone that there are other sources available, but can’t find a way to see them. Yes, I’ve put my hearing aids in discoverable mode.

Re: I need a way to see the “forgotten” items in Bluetooth.

Sorry nothing has helped so far.

"Forgotten" hearing-aids un-pair, so need to be re-paired.

Use Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"When you unpair your hearing device from your Apple device, it disconnects and will not reconnect to your Apple device until you pair it again".

If you need help to pair them: Above article for "Made for iPhone" hearing aids says:

"iPhone or iPad

  1. Put your hearing device in pairing mode and bring it near your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Open the Settings app.
  3. Tap Accessibility, then tap Hearing Devices to begin searching for your hearing device.
  4. When your hearing device appears in settings, tap its name.
  5. Tap Pair when you see one or more Bluetooth pairing requests."

Else: If your Hearing Aids (Brand and model name) do not appear in the "Made for iPhone" list provided earlier.

You may want to check the instructions that came with them for pairing info.

You could check the Settings to make sure your hearing aids are listed correctly, and are available there, for connection. If the hearing-aids are "Made for iPhone" you may want to look in:

Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices controls.

It may help to ensure you have the newest iOS 18 version on your iPhone

(Best to back up data first if updating)
