I was tracking the price of gold and a few other metals using the stock function <STOCK("GC=F", price)> and this has stopped working the past few days. Other stocks are working normally as far as I can tell so the function itself hasn't broken just its ability to get these specifically.
Any ideas on why this would be?
Numbers gets its data from Yahoo! Finance. There have been many reports here over the years of problems with the data. I can confirm that "GC=F" is the symbol that Yahoo! Finance uses, so this "should" work. I suggest you file a bug report at Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in the menu (or follow this link Feedback - Numbers - Apple). Bug Report is a choice in the Feedback Type dropdown.
