Which is the best software for creating 3D sustainable landscape designs on MacBook Pro?

I spent the last nine years trapped in an abusive marriage I wasn't allowed basic things like a computer although I did have an android phone for basic app stuff , my own life etc etc Not having any real computer access for that period of time has left me completely in the dark in regards to that kind of technology . So bare with me while I explain what exactly I'm looking for program wise .

Specifically I am looking for a program that allows me to take my sustainable landscape designs from a basic sketch to a completely finished full color scale 3D design so that clients can get a quality detailed look at what the finished job will look like on their property to sign off on . I am really good at blue prints to scale just need to figure out what the best program is to learn how to bring it to life for my business. Hopefully I explained that well enough and someone might have some helpful direction for me .

Software that does 3D modeling will all have a fairly steep learning curve, and often a steep pricetag. However, if you are up to a challenge, a very popular and amazingly feature-rich application is called Blender (https://www.blender.org/features/). The best part is that Blender is free and open source software, with a large and active community, and with plenty of tutorials available online.

It sounds like you’re looking for a program to turn your landscape designs into 3D models. I’d recommend SketchUp – it’s pretty easy to use and great for turning your sketches into 3D designs. You can add colors, textures, and view your designs from different angles to show clients exactly how the finished project will look. If you want something more advanced, AutoCAD is another option. It’s more complicated but super powerful for detailed 2D and 3D designs. Both have tutorials to help you get started, and SketchUp even has a free version. Good luck with your business!
