HomePod Siri answering from wrong HomePod

I had this issue, but found a solution. Reset your Internet meaning unplugged the power count to 45 plugged back in then remove all the HomePods from the HomeKit using remove accessory under the reset HomePod button in HomeKit once that’s done set up the HomePods fresh. Additionally inside the HomeKit have a nickname for each HomePod for each room, such as Kitchen HomePod or Bedroom HomePod. Solved the issues for me.
