How can I change Subtitle language on Apple TV+?

I live in Norway, but am an English speaker. I just rented the Spanish language film Pan's Labyrinth from Apple TV+ to watch on the app on my PC, but can't get English subtitles on it. When I rented it, it said it had English subtitles, but they're only in Norwegian. I can't change the subtitles at all, and there doesn't seem to be an option to do so. Have I missed something - is there a setting on the app that will let me change the subtitle language, or is it just not possible (and in which case, why have Apple said English audio is available? I would not have rented the film if I'd known the subtitles are only in Norwegian).

My hearing isn't what it was and if I'm watching something that's with English audio, I often have English subs on. I can use Norwegian subs for Norwegian audio or English audio, but I am thrown completely with languages I don't speak using Norwegian subs.
