Silencing, snoozing, and stopping alarms on iPhone

I do not know how I am turning off the alarm in the morning, which is making me late. When the alarms happens, I will pick up my iPhone and try to push the side button to snooze. Sometimes I manage to turn the alarm off entirely without meaning to. Is there another way to turn off the alarm other than touching "STOP" when the alarm is happening?

There should be an option to stop or snooze the alarm on your screen.
