Why is the French soundtrack playing Spanish on Apple TV?

I purchased the film Madagascar to run on Apple TV. It says it has English, French and Spanish soundtracks, but when I switch to French I just get Spanish again. I need to listen in French. The subtitles work correctly according to the language chosen but not the soundtrack. Edited to add that when I watch on my phone, the French soundtrack comes up correctly.
