When will Safari wake up and get an indicator for previously bookmarked sites?

I'm trying to use Safari more but little things just keep deterring me. When using Firefox I can tell at a glance if a site is already bookmarked. Not safari. Why not? It seems like such a simple thing that Apple just won't add. C'mon Apple! Give us this browser improvement.
