Unable to download TikTok on iPhone

I deleted the app when I could not access it late Saturday night. Now, Trump has reversed the ban and I tried to get the app but it stated that TikTok is not permitted in my region. when will this be available again and why is it not available now?

No, the ban has not been lifted. An executive order cannot simply nullify a law that was passed by Congress and upheld by the Supreme Court (though apparently some people who should know better think they can). The executive order extended, by 75 days, the deadline for Byte Dance divest itself of any Chinee investment.

Until such time as Byte Dance has no Chinese ownership or Congress passes a different law, Apple would face up to $5000 per user who downloaded the app. Not happening.
