I have a MacBook Pro Mid 2015 running Monterey 12.7.6 - how can i find out if i can upgrade to the next version, let's say Ventura. I have apps that need updates but won't update because i'm running Monterey 12.7.6. Please advise.

You can't upgrade from Monterey. You would need a 2017 MBP or later.
