Unable to connect my MacBook Air to HP 8720 Printer.

Installed latest HP driver, deleted all the printers in Settings and re-defined the printer. Can't establish connection to the scanner. This worked fine from the Macbook Air until a month or two ago. Still works from older MacBook Pros and a Mac Mini. Printing works fine but can't connect to the scanner.

HP Photosmart d110 printer not connecting with MacBook Air Hello, my MacBook Air (running Monterey 12.4) recognizes my HP Photosmart d110 printer/scanner in the Finder, but even when they are connected via USB, when I send items to print, the computer tells me that it is “waiting for the printer” to connect. Nothing prints or scans to the computer. I don’t see any drivers available on the HP drivers website but I know previously there was a “workaround” driver that I could install to get the printer to actually connect with my Mac. HP printer won't connect on macOS Big Sur I've been using OSX 11.7.6 with a HP color laserjet cp5225 for about a year. Today that printer won't connect. I downloaded the HP Easy Start 2 but the only printer it shows is my black & white hp 5200. Have tried multiple times - restarting computers, printers, network - nothing works. Unable to Scan to computer since installation of Somona on my MacBook. This worked fine previous to this update. Since installing Somona, I am unable to use the scan to computer function on my HP 8740 All in One. The Mac is not listed as an option on the Printer, and the Scan function on the MAC will not work and returns an error. I am unable to add the scanner, it returns an error message. I can not find an option that allows me to enable or fix this on any utility. The printer works, and the scanner has previously worked with this MacBook for several years. Please advise Thanks
