Unable to add payment card to Apple Wallet

The problem is this: I can't add my payment card to Apple Wallet; it says that the card is invalid, even though the card is active and was previously linked to Apple Pay. The bank's technical support told me to contact Apple support, as there are no issues on the bank's side.

Invalid card is an issue the bank needs to resolve. The first round of verification is Apple sends the account number, expiration date, name on account (but not security code) to the Payment Network Operator (Visa, MasterCard, American Express etc.) and they sent back invalid card.

Apple is not a bank, it doesn’t verify your identity or even add the card to your Wallet. This is all done by your bank and the cards PNO. They don’t share any of the information with Apple because it’s personal information between you and the bank.

Have you contacted your banks support team?
