Sounds like you are a victim of a common Gift Card scam. You are not likely going to get your money back as those are just like any other cash transaction. Review the support article here about Gift Card scams and it also has links to report them to the FTC. The FTC also provides information to help you with avoiding Gift Card scams. Basically NEVER provide someone the information from a Gift Card and if they are asking you to purchase one for them, it is ALWAYS a scam.

It is a little confusing because you refer to the Apple Card, which actually is the Apple Credit Card and I believe you are referring to the Apple Gift Card.
