Unexplained high USB-C accessory usage on iPhone 15 Pro

Do you have DeepSeek app installed on your mobile device? I’m not entirely certain, but I’ve encountered an issue. After installing the DeepSeek app, I noticed that the USB-C Accessories activity in the battery usage tab was continuously draining my iphone 16pro max battery. Then I uninstalled the DeepSeek app, and the issue resolved. However, after a few weeks, I reinstalled the DeepSeek app, and the USB-C Accessories activity reappeared in the battery usage tab, causing the battery drain again. This is quite strange!

I use an old USB-C laptop charger with my iPhone 15 Pro, cable to my laptop etc., never a problem

I suspect some app is at issue or your iOS is mangled so plug try a reset of the phone to rule that out

Report this to Apple:

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Are you ever charing your device through a USB cable? If so, then it mkay have connected to a charging brick, and then from that and into the wall socket.
