Black screen issue after updating to Sequoia 15.3

It began with the updating to 15.2 --> black screen. Then I tried with the Recovering (Command+R)- Result: I got Seqouia 15.3 for free:-). Next perpetum mobile is a sudden black screen after a couple of hours;-) Yesterday I tried with Command+Option+Shift+R without success(or did I something wrong?). It looks like a dead end, at least for me. Dear Community, please help:-)

Thank U SkySkiFlipper:-) Before I'll try with a bootable stick...my Mac is perfectly running some two, three, four hours with Sequoia 15.3. Then, suddenly, the screen becomes black. I have to shut down the power and wait an hour or so;-) When starting again the screen shows a sign saying, "restart" problems in many languages. After that I see the login picture and can login again. HEEEELP!

I updated to 15.3.1 less than a week ago and have three incidents of black screen after running for a few hours each time. I have a MacBook Pro 2019 running in clamshell (lid closed) with two external monitors. In all three cases the main external monitor went black. In two of the occasions I was on MS Teams with clients - very annoying to lose the screen. I opened the lid on the MBP and the system reconfigured so I could carry on with the meetings. The camera on the blacked-out display was still running throughout the meetings though. A cold reboot corrects the problem in each case. Hope there's a fix for this coming soon...!!!

Further to my comment of 6 March...I have updated to 15.3.2, hoping for a fix to this problem. It seemed to work for a while, but the problem is back again now. Observations: using the 2019 MBP with lid closed and two external monitors - Thunderbolt and LG - it's a Thunderbolt display that always blacks out. I've tried plugging into different ports on the MBP, swapping which one is Main versus Extended...and always the Thunderbolt that goes black. One might suspect the monitor, but this only started when I upgraded to Sequoia, and booting the MBP clears the problem every time, allows it to run for a while before it happens again. A Safe Boot and shut-down before a normal boot seems to allow a longer run (a few days) before the black screen appears again. The Apple description for Safe Boot says, in part: "Clears some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache." Maybe that's a clue. Can anyone help with this problem?

...and further to my last comment earlier today (30 March)...the screen (Apple Thunderbolt) went black while working with MBP lid closed and two external displays, but TimeMachine was backing up so I didn't want to reboot. I was typing a LinkedIn message at the time in the main screen (which is the one that went black); finished typing the message even though I couldn't see the LinkedIn screen, hit enter, and the message was completed (though not visible). I opened the lid, the screens reconfigured, with the main display still black. I deleted the cache files, but there was no change; kept working anyway on the MBP display and the external LG display. I then went to watch TV for a couple of hours to let TimeMachine finish. Came back and the main display was working again...!!! The things that were different since the screen went black were: caches deleted; MBP lid still open; TimeMachine had finished its backup. I still think this is a software problem, given that it didn't start until upgrade to Sequoia and the fact that the problem always clears on a reboot. BTW, I checked the boot time (thinking that the MBP had rebooted itself while I was watching TV), but the System Report/ Software says: "Time since boot: 2 days, 3 hours, 22 minutes" - so, no, it didn't reboot while I was gone. What's happening...???

Does anyone know if Apple are aware of this issue? I believe it is a software bug.

I updated to 15.4 very recently from 15.1 or 15.2 (bought a new Mac mini M4 a few weeks ago) and have had a random 2-3s black screen occasionally with a Dell UW4025 via the Dell supplied DP1.4 cable. As others have been saying, I did not experience this before the update.

It is very annoying and after playing around with the energy settings and whatnot, it persists. I have also tried changing the cable, done a hard reset and cleared the caches.

Thanks in advance.
