No, that’s not how refunds and/or returns work. You have to try to work with the merchant to resolve any issues. It’s possible you could receive both a refund from the merchant and a credit/reversal to the account and thereby profit from the transaction. If the refund is not received within the time stated by the merchant on the receipt, then you can file a dispute.
