Can't open downloaded file on MacBook Air I'm trying to download and install a file. I can download it but not open it. I am brand new to my MacBook and am not able to navigate smoothly. How and where do I change my download settings to permit opening downloaded files. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Cannot save files unless I restart my MacBook Need some help or guidance please guys, I cannot save a file after working on my MacBook for a while. If I restart it, I can save a file but after a period of time it just cycles the wheel when trying to save a file on the drive or via cloud. this is also true for searching and attaching files to mail. after a restart it all works fine but after working on the MacBook for a while it won't work. This with all software. I have also reinstalled the OS but problem persists as well as upgraded to Ventura.

Files won't save after migration Just used Migration App from 2019 Macbook Air to new 2022 Macbook Air. All seemed correct until tried to save files on new laptop. Makes no difference ... xcel or word....'save' or 'save as' is unavailable. Ideas?
