How do I display full keyboard viewer in Sonoma 14.7.2?

I'd like to be able to display my Keyboard Viewer. When I was using Monterey, the whole keyboard image popped up. Now that I'm using Sonoma 14.7.2, all I get is this below. How do I get it to display a full keyboard?

"Ruling out system modifications" just says that SOMETHING did a system modification. Doesn't tell you what or how to fix it.

I always hope that a user is informed enough to know what they have installed on their Mac, but that’s unfortunately not often. In that case the next troubleshooting step would be to post the EtreCheck report to show what the user should already have known, but doesn’t.

and reboot.

To get to Home/Library, you hold down the option key while doing Finder > Go

Good idea. But I did that and rebooted, and no change.

My point is that by my understanding, Safe Mode doesn't FIX anything. It's a diagnostic tool. It just puts you in a default mode where lots of things are reset. I guess it can fix directory errors, but my assumption is that this is an operational problem requiring instructions, and not a directory problem. Did I try "fade", "dwell", "zoom", or "opacity"? Um, why would I?

What does that have to do with anything? You mean everyone earlier has my problem?

No. But updating to the latest version can sometimes fix things that have gone wrong on your particular install. And it always makes sense to make sure you are already on that when trying to solve probems like yours (which I have not seen reported by anyone else).

The same goes for the Safe Boot. Have you tried that yet? And of course for an ordinary reboot.
