iCloud for Windows - Outlook calendar and contact sync not possible

Hi,

I have problem with iCloud for windows running on Win11 Parallels virtual machine (Arm-based Macbook Pro).

After installing the iCloud app from the Microsoft store, and logging in with my Apple credentials, the app does not give me the option to sync contacts and calendar and configure iCloud email on Outlook; what could this be?

I have the 2016 version of Outlook.

Then iCloud for Windows always show "There is either no default email client or the current email client cannot fulfil the messaging request. iCloud Outlook Add-In Not Working The iCloud Outlook Add-In that normally syncs contacts and calendars to the Microsoft Outlook app isn't working and isn't showing up in the Outlook desktop app. I'm running the latest stable versions of Windows 11, Office/Microsoft 365 and the iCloud Desktop app. This is despite the add-in being turned on in the Outlook app and the sync option being turned on in the iCloud desktop app. I have attached some screenshots to this post to better explain this. Is anyone else having this issue with iCloud for Windows app? If it is a bug where can I make a report about it? Thank for the help! Aaron

no checkbox options for contact, calendar in icloud setup for outlook. I am running Windows 11 25276.1000 on a 64-bit PC and when I try to set up my calendar and contacts from icloud in windows, i get the attached screen with no options for calendar and contacts and instead the message "you can access mail, contacts, calendar and reminders at Icloud.com." It's Icloud setup 14.1 and the current version of Microsoft 365 Outlook. What do I do?
