how to use icloud passwords on edge?

How to use icloud passwords on edge? Has there been a resolution to this issue? It just blinks off screen after clicking sign in on the icloud passwords screen. I have reinstalled multiple times and still get same results.

Keeping edge signed in to icloud passwords I'm running the icloud passwords extension on Edge on my windows PC. It works fine. However, EVERY TIME I close and reopen the browser it asks me to enter a 6 digit number to enable the password extension again. I must enter it a hundred times a day! Is there anyway to keep the extension signed in or to auto sign in so when I open Edge I don't have to go through this every time?

Edge/firefox icloud passwords - Enable passwords in icloud So I get a "Enable passwords in iCloud for Windows to use iCloud Password with edge" I have uninstalled all and logged in and out of iCloud. Every time I click on the browser's extension in either edge/firefox or chrome I get the message above. This a dodgy update?
