How to resolve 'Unable to sync Calendar and Contacts on iCloud for Windows with MS Outlook' issue?

I have installed the i cloud for windows app on my windows 11 PC. My Apple iphone 15 and ipad 10th generation are on the latest versions of IOS 18. My windows PC is also up to date. When I open the i cloud for windows app on my pc and click on the sync calanders and contacts button, I am greeted with the following message

I have signed out and back in as instructed, but the same message keeps appearing.

I already have uninstalled and reinstalled the i cloud for windows app a few times. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365 on my computer. No luck.

Any help would be appreciated. This problem has been around for about 2 months now.

I turned off stolen device protection and was able to download my contacts and calanders using the icloud for windows app. At the end of the download, I received the following messages. My MS Outlook classic does have a default profile, so I am not sure why I am getting this meassge and I still am not able to sync contacts and calanders
