Login issue youtube in new iphone after transferring from old iphone

Trying to re-enter my gmail account password on my new iPhone and it is requesting that I open YouTube to verify sign-in. Nothing was appearing in my YouTube because I was not signed in to my Google account yet on the new iPhone. When I attempted to sign in to Youtube, it asked be to verify my account on the YouTube app using my new iPhone. I am unable to verify this information while trying to sign-in to YouTube because I am not logged in. Has anyone else had this issue and any resolutions you may have found?

When it asks you to open YouTube to verify, click “Try another way” at the bottom of the screen (if that option appears).

You might be able to get a text message, or email, or use a backup code if you have one set up.
