Can't find I.D. for Mac mini 4, it wasn't in the box , or on the computer

Just in case you are referring to the computer's serial number (which surely should have been in the box...):
you can see it by choosing "About this Mac" from the Apple menu.
If you're referring to your Apple ID you have to create that. Otherwise, what are you referring to?
your Apple ID is the credentials you have used to log into this forum.
Thank you for responding so quickly. I've never done this before, so do I just make up some numbers ? I hate to sound stupid, but I'm still learning. What I'm doing is trying to install some software, and they want my Apple I.D.
it's at the very top of the sidebar of System Settings.
No It's not the serial number
You Apple ID is what you use to log into this site. It's also listed in System Settings at the top left.
I looked in System Settings, I didn't find anything that said Apple I.D.
