Why are BBC radio stations from TuneIn no longer available on Apple Music?

I am frustrated because I can no longer stream any of the BBC staions on my MacBook Pro, iPad or iPhone. Very frustrating. This happened in the last week. The stations were on passthrough with TuneIn so I guessing they parted company. How do we get the BBC stations back?

BBC is discontinuing BBC Sounds and International access this spring. For those of us outside of the UK, they're making only two stations available - World News and BBC4.

I read one article that indicated that they were going to be inserting advertisements (like on TuneIn) to allow for the music channels but can't find any further mention.

I'd be happy to pay for a subscription to BBC Sounds. I know the BBC is paid for by license holders in the UK. Why not let those of us who listen internationally do the same?

Hey Apple, maybe you could make this happen?

Yes, I downloaded the BBC Sounds app, which works like a charm. That said, the glitch for all the BBC radio stations on my MacBook's Apple Music service has come back. Yay! I hope it continues.

But as you rightfully point out, it's all about licensing fees. I hope TuneIn and BBC and Apple can work this out.
