i just got my 16 pro it has 6 cycles in it and last week I charged it to 85% every day and I put it down with 38-40% at night. 2-3 days ago I updated to iOS 18.3.2 and ever since then my battery has been draining like crazy doing the same things on my phone that I did last week my battery drains like 2 times faster than it did before. How is this happen on a new flagship phone ?

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

Charge to 100% using Optimized Charging. The iPhone’s fancy electronics don’t allow the battery to charge to 100% of its maximum capacity by default, so just charge to 100%.
I have recently brought iphone 16 pro max and after the 5 day of buying i am updating my phone on ios 18.3.2 and after by phone bettery drain very fastly
