Why only 9 pinned text conversations?

Why are we still only able to pin 9 text conversations. My company uses text message threads to work on projects, so I need to keep these pinned. BUT I also need to keep my top people I'm constantly texting there too. Why is there still a limit to how many text conversations you can have pinned?

How do I stop separate text message threads after switching from Samsung to iPhone I have recently swapped over from Samsung to apple. when I went into send a text message, I noticed that my friends name and mine were listed in the recipient field. I sent my text message to my friend and the reply came back in a seperate message with no other previous messages. How do I stop this from happening? And Just have the one thread.
