Report Phishing address

I received a text message today on my Apple 15 iPhone saying that it was from the Apple Store and they had detected a suspicious purchase attempt for over $600 and that I needed to call a certain number to report it. I called the Apple support community and the phone chatbot told me I needed to send it to attach it to an email and send it to the same address I see people recommend here which is "reportphishing@apple.com" which I did. It's been over five minutes and the email has not shown up in my Sent mail folder to verify that it was sent. Is this still a good address?

There also had been warnings to never reply to text messages or email

from fake Apple Support messaging apparatus.. You may need to reset

your passwords and secure your accounts, such as banks, etc. I've not

done these however maybe you should.

At the moment, I'm unable to add related links for official support articles.

I'd never heard of a Chatbot for Apple Support, or other indirect means.

Take care & good luck!🙂

Yes, thanks, duly noted. I don’t reply to them and that is why I called Apple Support versus the number provided in the suspicious text. The chat bot I mean is the one that answers the phone now. I did finally receive a SENT confirmation and an automated reply from Apple thank me for reporting it.
