Heic format video very worst

Apple support chat has ceased to exist many years ago, and there are no answers to questions anywhere. All messages with questions that they cannot answer are deleted here! Apple, how much longer?! How can I disable saving all videos in heic format? I already regret that I updated from iPhone 8 to 15 pro. I am tired of constantly suffering with the terrible quality of video that the iPhone saves in its heic format. Now all videos from the phone are simply in terrible heic quality converted to all messengers, there was no such problem before. I went into the settings, I thought it was possible to disable it there, no, Apple does not have the ability to disable saving videos in heic format and switch it to the usual mpeg4 convenient for everyone. I switched from High Efficiency to Normal and nothing changed!!!!! How can I disable this heic function?!?!?!?!?!

There’s nothing wrong with the iPhone. It’s working as intended. Did you read the text in the settings app? Here’s what Apple shows you.

“To reduce file size, capture photos and videos in the High Efficiency HEIF/HEVC format. Most Compatible will always use JPEG/H.264. Cinematic video, 4K at 60 fps or higher, and HDR video require High Efficiency.”

Don’t shoot 4K 60. It’s how it works. Your camera/iPhone is working as designed. In the future if you have specific feature requirements, do your due diligence and make sure the product you purchase fits your specific needs.

If you go into settings on your iPhone there should be an option for camera. Under the camera settings there will be an option for “Formats” which you’ll want to change it from “High Efficiency” to “Most Compatible” to change your photos/videos taken to JPEG/H.264 format.

Not working. 15 pro.

the phone refuses to save all 4k 60 videos in h.264 format and saves them in hevc. At 4k 30 it saves them in h.264. But I'm shocked that the most sophisticated phone with the pro prefix limits its user in saving the format. It's easier for me to buy an old iPhone 13, which still has this option, and not update iOS so that it doesn't slow down like Apple does on purpose. I constantly do video and it's just awful to see that the quality at 4k60 is much worse than at 4k30 on top-end technology only because of the strongest compression and space saving!!!?!?!?!
