Is this a scam?

I got a text to my iphone informing me of quite a large payment for a "subscription" paid through apply pay. Is it likely this is a scam?

Yes, it's a scam.

Let me guess, there's some gobbledegook web site they want you to visit, call some phone number, or both to stop the payment.

If there's a phone number, look it up in a Google search. I guarantee you it will have nothing to do with Apple.

That’s a classic scam.
